Oculus Link is the optic cable that connects Oculus Quest to a gaming PC. Oculus Quest is wireless limitless, virtual is the company’s an all-in-one VR gaming headset. It translates and tracks moments in the VR world without external sensors and offers a gaming experience as futuristic, immersive, seamless as ever. Steps to connect Oculus Link for development or gaming –

  • Download the Oculus PC software.
  • A compatible cable is required for Oculus Link.
  • Oculus software needs to be updated both on PC and your Quest.
  • Open Oculus App on PC once everything is updated.
  • Switch the Quest device.
  • Plug-in USB cable into a USB port on PC.
  • The other end of the cable to be plug-in into the headset.
  • In VR, a message will be displayed, prompting to Allow access to data.
  • Select Deny.
  • When Enable Oculus Link (beta) is prompted, select Enable.
