Yay! Spider-Man Will Continue To Stay In MCU, Future Plans Revealed
Spider-Man fans are exulting after Sony Pictures and Marvel declared a third Spider-Man film with Tom Holland, easing worries that the two companies had broken association.
In August, Sony stated it was “disappointed” not to be operating with Disney on forthcoming Spider-Man movies amid news that they could not arrive a good deal over the web-slinging superhero.
They beat out a deal on 26 September. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige stated: “I am thrilled that Spidey’s journey in the MCU will continue, and I and all of us at Marvel Studios are very excited that we get to keep working on it.”
Feige presented a great creative part in the last two Spider-Man movies and fortunately blended Holland’s appearance into it’s multi-billion-dollar Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
He continued that Spider-Man was “the only hero with the superpower to cross cinematic universes, so as Sony continues to develop their own Spidey-verse you never know what surprises the future might hold”. Sony Pictures’ Robert Lawson told they were “delighted to be moving forward together”. Holland praised on Instagram. He highlighted a clip of Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street stating: “I’m not… leaving – the show goes on!”
The movie rights to the superhero are held by Sony, though he was able to seem in films like Avengers: Endgame due to a contract between Sony and Marvel Studios, which is held by Disney.
Variety added that the new movie is supposed to pop theaters on 16 July 2021.
