YouTube Originals will be free to watch starting from September 24th

YouTube earlier this year announced that it would keep its original shows exclusive to paying Premium members and the content will be available to the public as ad-supported programming. Now, YouTube is making all its original series and movie and keeping all the content available to the non-paying members too.

On the other hand, YouTube will provide a better viewing experience to its premium subscribers as they won’t have to wait for the ads to continue with their videos or TV shows. Besides this, the premium subscribers will also get immediate access to every episode in a show’s new season. Also, the premium subscribers will be the only audience that will get access to the director’s cuts and bonus scenes whenever they’re available.

The members who have not paid for the subscription and are rather non-paying members will have to wait until each episode of the series releases to the public. Still, that’s not bad either for those who are not willing to pay $12 a month to watch the original programs of YouTube.

Besides providing original YouTube content to the Premium subscribers, the video giant has also added some of the new features to Premium subscription. The Premium subscribers can find a “Recommended downloads” section in the app’s Library tab which will make it easier for the subscribers to find interesting videos to download.

Also, with the new features in hand, subscribers can also switch between a song and a music video with the tap of a button. Talking about the Android users, they now can download up to 500 songs automatically from their playlists or favorite Songs list.
